Job Duties:
Work with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage the Project in three key areas:Managed Services, Technical delivery of Projects & System/Applications Enhancement and Automation;Architecture / Design / Development / Implementation and Detailing of Processes Including Collect and Review requirements and solution alternatives, to-be process maps and other solution design deliverables; do different types of modeling; guide the team. For large complex use cases create detailed design along with other team members, Develop design specifications for system applications using Ab lnitio and Teradata dataDbase and DB2; Design, code, program, develop systems/application architectural redesigns, flow charts and workflows,
database models and user interfaces using SQL, Abinitio Cognos, and Terada; Design, develop and Unit test Ab initio graphs using GDE for Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data from source to target; Design, code,program, develop and implement the systems/application architectural redesigns, flow charts and workflow and database models and user interfaces using Abinitio and Cognos; Design, program, and implement software codes and software scripts for system/data loading and validation using Java, Java Script for validation; Project Setup, installation-configuration and implementation of Abinitio Analytics and flow charts, Upgradation from Cognos 10.2.2 Version to Cognos 11 Analytics on Windows and WebSphere Linux environments; User Security implementation using Cognos Authentication Manager with Active Directory Server; Verify the Source Environment and Target Environment Use Life Cycle Manager; Metadata Modeling and publishing of packages using Framework Manager; Implement the Security levels in framework Manager Level; Data Source creation in Cognos Connection, package migration across development and production environment; Involved in SIT and
UAT testing which included writing test cases; Application maintenance tasks like reconfiguring content store, User ID creation and maintenance, assigning privileges to objects; Design, develop and Unit test SQL views using DB2 SQL to load data from source to target; Design, program, and implement software codes and software scripts for system/data loading and validation using SQL and Java Script; Create and implement test cases and performed unit testing for the Ab lnitio graphs and SQL views; Document Unit testing, log and resolve defects in the roll out phases; Extensively work in the UNIX environment using Shell Scripts for FTP, SFTP processes; Involved in SIT and UA T testing which include designing and implementing test cases; Perform Metadata Modeling and publishing of packages using Framework Manager; Analyze and deploy Data from one Environment to another Environment; Best practice documents for data modeling on Report studio and Query studio and Power play; Maintenance and troubleshooting of Abinitio OLAP environment; Extensively worked in the UNIX environment using Shell Scripts for FTP, SFTP processes; Administered tasks such as Scheduling, Deployment, Dispatchers restarts; Deployed Data from one Environment to Another Environment; Prepared User documentation to train users and functionality of each report.; Mastered using Filters, sorts, groups and Sets, reference lines in different kinds of charts; (c Deploy systems migration across development and production environment; Focus on implementing the tasks and technologies such as Develop and implement Unix Shell script to automate day-to-day systems/applications tasks, Developing new security controls using Abinitio graphs and Fixing any issues arising of technical platform upgrade; and Problem Definition and RCA / Solution Evaluation and Recommendation such as Review work of team members, provide suggestions on problem statement articulation, discuss with stakeholders, define and document the problem and develop the high-level solution for large/ complex prospects, Review documentation and update documents; Engage in the capacity of an expert to resolve bottlenecks and provide best practices, review output and provide guidance to the managed services team.
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
fields of studies and at least 3 years or relevant software or database systems and application development
experiences.
